Erin Okuno is a licensed attorney who works as the Foreman Biodiversity Fellow at the Institute for Biodiversity Law and Policy at Stetson University College of Law. She assists with the Institute’s environmental education, research, and service activities. Erin graduated summa cum laude from Stetson University College of Law, and as a student at Stetson Law, she served as the editor in chief of the Stetson Law Review and was a member of Stetson’s award-winning Moot Court Board. At graduation, she received the Edward D. Foreman Most Distinguished Student Award. She has conducted research on wetland law and policy and mitigation and ecosystem banking for several years. Prior to working at Stetson Law, she practiced as an associate at a law firm in Tampa, Florida, where she worked on commercial litigation, environmental, zoning, and land use matters, as well as commercial loan transactions.
