Mr. Olsen is an attorney with Hopping Green & Sams, P.A. based in Tallahassee, Florida. He represents clients in establishing, operating, using, and owning wetland mitigation banks and conservation banks in Florida and other states. He was worked on more than 20 different mitigation banks addressing multiple issues such as financial and legal requirements, mitigation service areas, properly applying laws and rules governing mitigation credit awards and credit releases, and laws and rules governing mitigation credit usage. He helped developed Florida’s wetland mitigation banking statutes and rules. He is a member of the Florida Association of Mitigation Bankers and the National Ecological Restoration Business Association.
